Start of the Game:

-         did the ref introduce themselves to the coaches                /1

-         is the referee dressed appropriately                           /1

-         did the ref check the gym for unsafe equipment               /1

-         did the ref get a game ball beforehand                      /1

-         did the ref inspect the players required equipment or notice any inappropriate equipment i.e. watches     /jewellery               /1

During the Game:

-         does the ref blow the whistle loud & clear enough     /3

-         does the ref blow the whistle in a consistent way for the same kinds of calls                                                            /3

-         does the ref indicate where the kick is to be taken & which team gets possession right after the whistle is blown            /5

-         does the ref maintain control over the game              /3

-         does the referee have a good understanding of the rules and know when to use his or her discretion                  /3

-         did the referee explain their call to players and try to help them understand in an efficient and helpful way                /3

After the Game:

-         did the ref keep an accurate account of the score   /1

-         were both halves of play equal in length                    /1

-         did the ref watch to make sure the teams shook hands and no players were disrespectful                                            /1

-         overall, did the ref act professional and courteous    /2
